Brand Development & Message Map
In the summer of 2016 O’Dell Graphic Solutions and strategic partner, Weiss PR, teamed up to help MURN properties launch a new property management company.
Working one-on-one with MURN, OGS and Weiss PR identified MURN’s unique selling proposition, its core audiences and more — providing MURN with a suitable tagline, and a comprehensive message map, which included specific copy to be used to address specific audiences. In addition, Weiss PR then went on to provide MURN with a complete public relations strategy with press release and messaging for multiple media outlets.
Logo Design
MURN Properties‘ new look required OGS to come up with a way to update an already established logo of partner, Chris Murn’s, Murn Development.
By selecting a new modern san serif typeface OGS was able to create a corporate mark that featured complementary angles between type and icon thereby, correcting the awkward visual relationship that existed between their original icon and typeface combination.
In addition, MURN’s color palette was updated to provide a more contemporary look and to add more visual contrast to help with recognition at smaller sizes.
Responsive Website & Social Media
MURN Properties required a clean mobile-friendly website that highlighted their services provided to three main audiences. OGS worked with them to set up hosting, and implement a responsive WordPress website that not only displayed the appropriate service-related information, but also a featured property to visitors in an efficient way. The site as it is shown below was completed on an accelerated timeline and is considered a phase one launch. MURN and OGS are currently working on phase two.
OGS also created graphic assets based on MURN’s updated look and new website for MURN’s social media outlets.
