How do you know if your site is considered mobile-friendly by Google standards?
Well, Google made it easy for you to test your site by simply pasting the URL of your website or single page at: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
Here is a comparison of two websites tested on Google’s Mobile-Friendly Tester.
OGS recently tested our new site, and the results are good!
The image below is an analysis of a website that OGS built 5 years ago using non-mobile-friendly techniques. It’s still a great looking site that loads quickly, represents the business well, and continues to generate leads, but unfortunately is not compatible with Google’s new standards.
You can see that Google outlines a few key reasons why this site is not considered to be mobile-friendly, like text size, viewport size, and hyper link size related to viewport.
Ok, now what?
Of course being mobile-friendly is just the first step in making “Big-Google” happy with your site, so if you’re ready to get up to speed don’t hesitate to give us a shout we’d love to help you avoid “Mobilegeddon” ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
